@zoolegs 1. Told someone I was from Michigan and that the weather here was nice. 2. Called someone an *******. Both times I tried to lie and tell my grandma I didn't do it and both times AOL ratted me out with the receipts.

Gems of War global chat is my schadenfreude goldmine; It never fails to entertain. Want midlife-crisis fueled cringe-spending and gatekeeping? What about dysphoric adults song-posting à la y2k MSN/AOL? How about simping and echochambered circle-jerks?

One time in fifth grade a friend of mine informed me he was going to hack my AOL Instant Messenger account. I confidently informed him that he would never, ever guess my pinecone. Reader, two guesses as to what my password was.

@TrueIroningMan @RobertCooper58 @squirrel_no AOL account, secure as putting your password on a Post-it note in the office. Compare, they never found Hilary’s emails. Pretty good security by any measure. And you know they spared no expense looking.
