@zoolegs 1. Told someone I was from Michigan and that the weather here was nice. 2. Called someone an *******. Both times I tried to lie and tell my grandma I didn't do it and both times AOL ratted me out with the receipts.

@jeffalomaniac 94 was AOL & Geocities and getting in trouble because AOL you paid to be online per minute. Then I remember in 1996 or 97 working at the local ISP and upgrading our infra to support 56K modems and then downloading stuff to Zip disks at home!

I remember reading Ender's Game in 1995 when my frame of reference was AOL and my school's internal BBS. The concept of a Locke or Demosthenes coming from the Seventeen message board on AOL was inconceivable. I'm sure many of those girls are now Q, so what ******** did I know?

@MiddleAgeStream Its not Twitch though. Internet is vast, people been trolling since AOL chatrooms. We see on the news, serial killers, sickos, and crazies. This is just a space, your most important space, and yeah this sucks ****, but it will always be there. So wear that tag with caution.

We have to get customers’ emails for their turkey orders; my little 17 yr old coworker took an order & then says “I’ve never heard of AOL for an email, what’s that?” And now I feel superrr old.😩😩
