@leonardpierce Something like the Assembly Of Locals wouldn’t have precluded ppl showing up for things, but given how little shit got done and the actual lack of honest discussion at the convention AOL would still be a huge improvement

@maiainmi @BursonGrace No aol, no MySpace, and I never owned an encyclopedia, used the one at the library. I miss postcards. I still routinely write paper checks: the music teacher and Linnea's tutoring place don't take Zelle, Venmo, or credit cards (*), so. (*) tutors do with 5% fee, tbf.

@crash_matrix @rockest_lobster Never owned an encyclopedia. AOL wasn't a thing here, but I did need local equivalent. No Myspace and paper checks weren't really a thing here. So 4
