@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

@RittervonManila @squidmamaart Financially speaking, it wasn't doing too hot either when AOL tried to buy Warner Bros. We just didn't know HOW BAD the company was doing yet. Despite the success of the Kids' WB block, Warner was OVERSPENDING.

Paying down student loans to encourage a better educated society makes no sense, unlike bailing out banks that gambled on people paying off a McMansion and McEquityHummers on $22K through mortgage companies that advertised with dancing cowboy banners on AOL mail.

@Jteisele Gmail assumptions can be dangerous, often not the only address in use. Outlook dot com -- have Office365, a static website that is never updated, and ne'er the twain shall meet. AOL is a red flag, but even worse are grandfathered ISP accounts from long-dead dialup providers.

@DarbysCastle I still have AOL, too, and have never had a problem with it. Can't say the same for g-mail. At least for me.
