@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

@PhillyMike My best friend worked in one of the towers. Luckily he went to work later than most people. There was no cell service that day so the only way to finally communicate with him was via AOL IM lol

And in college Black dudes gave me crap, and at the bus stop I ran fast and far when a Black guy asked if he could try on my nice leather jacket, and when I worked at AOL a Black guy scammed me and I let him cuz I was afraid he'd kill me, so, I don't think it's a race thing per

@octothorpe PCPursuit wasn’t shenanigans. Totally legit service that let you use TeleNet (dial up backbone used by aol and compuserve) to make outbound calls in other regions. Was like $30/month. Now you could get to places to learn about shenanigans using it…
