After much mediation and soul searching, I figured out what my New Years resolution for online stuff is... get better at replying to messages on Twitter, Instagram and Discord. I have not seen so many messages not replied to since I checked my AOL in 10th grade...7k email!

@AOLSupportHelp I am so so sick and tired of every single email from a recruiter or job offer is going to my spam. Your spam filters are AWFUL and need an option to be less sensitive. I'VE LOST JOB OPPORTUNITIES BECAUSE OF YOU. And there isn't even a new mail indicator next to spam like inbox!!

I've been online since BBS. I was here day 1 for the WWW. I can still sing the dialup TCP/IP handshake of AOL. I know about virtual relationships. I have friends in most countries now. Some are even 25+ yr long pals. Never once have I assumed I would spend my life with one. #odd
