  • WithChanceof cool choppers embasy🥄 (@WithChanceof) reported from Rutherford, New Jersey

It was around the time of cosm mine and transmutable related credibility at full proliferatory two years ago that I made my biggest display of the **** scene of the aol message boards as evident by the new trak polyphonic and lock chains dynamic and that it was mutability

  • JPMcEvoyNYC James McEvoy🇺🇲🇮🇪🌈♊👨‍🦰 (@JPMcEvoyNYC) reported from Manhattan, New York

@electroboyusa Nope. Same AOL email since dial-up. I also have the same phone number since 1986 and never had a Facebook account. Never felt the need to follow the crowd "just because".

  • LevonHughey Levon Hughey (@LevonHughey) reported from Manhattan, New York

@TinaDesireeBerg This was a mindfuck to say the least. The piece of **** who made the poll did the old capital “i”/lower case “L” trick in the username. I used to do **** like that in AOL chat rooms back in the 2000s to **** with people.

  • MikeTRose Michael T. Rose (@MikeTRose) reported from Brooklyn, New York

@QuinnyPig Of all the ways AOL did us *****, the worst.

  • BDLKONYOU Truth Hurts (@BDLKONYOU) reported from Brooklyn, New York

Lmao #TwitterBlue. How many idiots are going to pay $2.99 a month. For stupid features. This isn't the #aol days. Jack cokehead Dorsey.

  • dberkowitz David Berkowitz (@dberkowitz) reported from Manhattan, New York

@michaelmiraflor @Aerocles @MattJMcD Why is it a problem that they’re asking what web3 is? To me, that’s a great sign that they care. This is so new in any practical sense. The web itself didn’t matter to most without the browser & AOL. Web 2 didn’t matter for most until Facebook. Most people need real applications.

  • steketee steketee (@steketee) reported from Manhattan, New York

@aripap If AOL could figure out why they dropped the ball in AIM, I might consider reading the rest of their issues

  • Podia2Dromedary Matty 🇺🇸 🇺🇦🇨🇦🇫🇷🇮🇱🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (@Podia2Dromedary) reported from Manhattan, New York

Mad as hell bc I had to delete then re-login to my aol account on my phone (shut up, I know) and the notes in my notepad app I wrote from the end of June-present were not backed up So many single lines of lyrics that were never going to become anything, gone

  • BDLKONYOU Truth Hurts (@BDLKONYOU) reported from Brooklyn, New York

@hopefulmetsfan @Mets This game took me back to the early days of the AOL message boards where no one was spared when games like this happened This offense or lack thereof is embarrassing While the pitching is doing the job the bats are in a coma Poor max he got the Degrom offense

  • raygootz spooky gootz (@raygootz) reported from Manhattan, New York

@skinnymysterio WCW cut everyones salaries in half in 92 cause they could. Also AOL wanted wrestling ******** off tnt didnt matter if nitro started destroying raw in ratings. All these corporate pricks are the same.

  • jschulweis Jason Schulweis ☕️ (@jschulweis) reported from Manhattan, New York

My thoughts on the Yahoo/AOL news summed up as follows: - as a former Yahoo, I still bleed Purple for the brand. It mattered so much to so many for so long, and still does to a degree (just in different ways) - The middle is a bad place to be. If you can’t compete in scale…

  • Helen_Highly HelenHighly (@Helen_Highly) reported from Manhattan, New York

@doctorwhoviana @crosa1988 But they loved the infomercial I had written (which never aired). They thought I “understood them.” So they hired me to do all sorts of other stuff. They essentially paid for my 1st condo. Those were the days. But then AOL made a tragically wrong turn. Interesting how that goes.

  • britshaniece Brittany♚ (@britshaniece) reported from Manhattan, New York

Think about how horny you gotta be to see some porn in the Fleets. That UX is horrible. AOL dial-up porn.

@WatcherGuru Sorry who? Robinhood is like AOL & dial up to me at this point moved on don't care. If you're sitting & waiting for RobinHood that's a bad business call. @CharlesSchwab ? Let me know when you're ready to list #SHIB #FTM & #GALA because I'm staying loyal to you.

  • aarond aarond (@aarond) reported

@ekp Ah, retention. Used to be the only way to cancel an AOL account without being harassed over the phone was to fax them a letter

  • Miki_Hey_Miki HeyMiki (@Miki_Hey_Miki) reported

Tai's situation is too ghetto and too childish for me. All this over a man you never met. This is like being 14 in an aol chatroom fighting over your online bf. #loveduringlockup

  • spiffygoblin SpiffyGoblin (@spiffygoblin) reported

@ZigZaggyZagg I had a customer around 2018-19 who was still using AOL's desktop app to check his email. It gave the little "you got mail" and everything. I'm pretty sure he had to pay them to use it still

  • tradigiart TraDigiArt (@tradigiart) reported

@TheBudz96 @DocWizard_ One reason I'm nervous & worried is PLAYING the game. I use to roleplay over AOL messenger. I took classes on character development, script writing & character design. But there's a guy in Mayhem who's never played until getting into the server. Gave me hope to try... I guess.

  • wolfkeepr wolfkeepr (@wolfkeepr) reported

And the only reason I came up with the scavenger hunt is because people on AOL were talking to me like they knew EXACTLY who I was. I was fairly certain one of them was you. I figured a scavenger hunt might give you something to do that would keep you busy. And out of trouble.

  • DolliesNFT DolliesNFT (@DolliesNFT) reported

@awrigh01 meh, web tech always has this problem in the early phases. just something you gotta learn to navigate and filter to be an early adopter. idk if you remember AOL chatrooms and email 25 years ago but it was just as bad. eventually we'll get better tools to assist. devs do something

  • freedomtilly Tilly 🌞🌙 (@freedomtilly) reported

@AOLSupportHelp I've given thorough details but apparently uts not enough! I'm sorry but being dyslexic means I have very bad memory how am I supposed to remember emails ive sent more than 7 days ago?!

  • OpenMin98895295 Open Mind (@OpenMin98895295) reported

@rachelvscott @Yamiche This is AOL fault of @POTUS. Would never have happened if he had not eaten ice cream

  • TrulyTafakari dara tafakari (@TrulyTafakari) reported

It is fascinating to have gone from the stranger-danger rules of using only usernames on AOL IM , never giving out real names on the internet, and being warned never to meet strangers offline… to people uploading public videos of their actual homes.
