On #CovidCampus: a family friend in his late 60’s just emailed me from his AOL account, subject line “Hello this is [his name],” to ask if I could come over to help him figure out Zoom for the class he’s adjuncting at a major university, so, yeah, this isn’t going to go smoothly.

Ironically even after contacting regarding RESTORATION OF EMAILS LOST FROM SAVED LABELLED FOLDERS in GMAIL, AOL or YAHOO;NO SOLUTION IS OFFERED by APPLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. INSTEAD the AGENT HANGED D PHONE without any solution.

@PabloEscobarner @thejuiceisgood I mean I agree but i know people that had to hire attorneys for AOL to cancel and personally watched my father scream into the phone and degrade the other party until they would actually simply cancel and then they hung up on him. It was wild times.

@AOLSupportHelp Parents’ 20+ year AOL email has been w/o notification shut down for violating TOS agreement. Suspect hacking. Tried tirelessly to get help/support to reinstate or retrieve info w/o any success. P’s in their 80s have IMPT info including health info. Plz assist.
