@dancow In the 90s I had an AOL account so I could test our software on their proprietary browser. Couldn’t cancel online. Had to call in (but long wait on hold). Instead, I switched to cheapest (4.95) plan until credit card finally expired.

That meant locking in a a potentially speculative valuation, by acquiring real world assets. I would see about tweaking the definition to at least treat those as realized gains.

So, after 27 years Internet Explorer has shut down. It’s hard to believe because other than AOL, that was the first web browser I used. So long to the best Firefox & Google Chrome downloader of all time.
