@KarenBeChirico @TPCarney I agree with Columbine. As a preteen, it affected me greatly. I remember sitting at the family computer (on dial-up AOL) crying while looking at a site to memorialize the victims while an awful midi version of “Every Breath You Take” by The Police played on repeat. 💔

  • lil3sis Connie ZeilerMcNally (@lil3sis) reported from Hampton Township, Pennsylvania

@prattprattpratt #thetalk #Emailoverload. Part of the problem (at least 4 me) is when ur emails load into #gmail or #aol app on #smartphone it doesn't remove or sync them w server. This definitely needs fixed by companies #google n #verizon #fios

  • JamesRenner James Renner (@JamesRenner) reported

I took down the new info but since Julie Murray made it public, I guess it’s fair game. Among Maura’s things apparently was a credit card number and birthdate of a man that Maura was communicating w over AOL instant messenger. I made the mistake that police knew about it.

  • DamianS1 Damians1 (@DamianS1) reported

@iSocialFanz @keepersecurity Yeah! I remember that AOL's security was, uh, not lol. They would cut down a screenname in a minute if it was not under their TOS.📅 those were thy internet security days.

  • stargazing_sky Stargazing_Sky (@stargazing_sky) reported

Twitter was founded in March 2006. At that time I was 14. You can‘t say ****. My first platform to interact with people online was the ******* AOL chatrooms and that was a dumpsterfire in itself.

  • MirrorHer Anne 2.0 - fresh and fabulous (@MirrorHer) reported

@ayvalentine Yes. I had one monthly support group for a bit. No internet groups, it was 1994. Some AOL but I was more into that after treatment, coleading chats, forming a website etc.

  • _Danny__S Danny.S. (@_Danny__S) reported

@AOLSupportHelp you say you can’t give help on email addresses but I can’t find anywhere that can tell me why my main email address has been logged out and I can’t even access it. Not even forgot my password works. No one to talk to either as you have stopped calls. What can I do

  • oscvas Oscar 🇺🇸🏳️‍🌈 (@oscvas) reported

@Timodc Never trust anyone with an AOL email account
