@TownBizTony Dude I remember the 56K days and at times AOL would have a bad day and you saw 28.8 or 14.4 pop up it was hell

@XtremeEffect @SheistyDrifter @aewbotches What killed WCW in the end was the **** booking, the AOL/Time Warner merger, and the fact that Jim Herd ****** their chances when Turner bought Crockett in 1988 (The Ding Dongs for example.) When WCW was good, it was great. But Russo had the opposite effect of what they expected.

@alanglenn66 @PeterParros Alan, do u remember around 2008 or so there was this free AOL Video platform and they had a classic P&G soap channel? They would upload episodes each week full and uncut. So bummed when that service ended. (That’s how all the Edge eps from July ‘79 to Nov 80 are on YouTube now)
