AOL Issues Reports Near Lakewood, Colorado

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Lakewood and nearby locations:

  • kittehv1876 Kat V (@kittehv1876) reported from Denver, Colorado

@ChrisJFuselier Never trust a Hotmail address, they are the new AOL. 🤣

  • tuba_man Chris 🌈🌟 (@tuba_man) reported from Wheat Ridge, Colorado

@AmyDentata It's the same reason why gaudy desktop PC lights are a mess of vendor lock-in, And why we've reinvented the bad old days of infinite cable bundles and of AOL channels (which is about the nicest way I can think to describe the deliberate interop friction between social media apps)

  • gingertasticCO Danny Sacks (@gingertasticCO) reported from Westminster, Colorado

    My AOL-IM is down, wtf??

  • iansltx Ian Littman (@iansltx) reported from Denver, Colorado

Verizon should have never bought Yahoo and AOL, but it's good to see them shed those and refocus. AT&T should have never bought Tim Warner, but it's good to see them soon both that and DTV off. T-Mobilr should have never bought Layer3 TV. Etc.

I had a customer cancel her plan because she didn't know how to use our website And yes......she does have an AOL email address

  • PaulMallar Paul Mallar (@PaulMallar) reported

@StephLandsman @TradingNation Tesla is not AOL. AOL was an internet service provider that relied on the phone lines and cable lines of other companies. They have no tangible products. Tesla has the products, the technologies, and in-house designed factories of the future. Tesla’s products also include solar.

  • AlyssaRose5228 Our Lady of the Upside Down (@AlyssaRose5228) reported

Tried to log into my old tumblr the other day but I can’t remember my password and I can’t access the email where they send the reset password because aol deactivated the account for not being used lololololol I guess we’ll just never know.

  • 28delayslater 🐶Earl of Frunkpuppy🐶 (@28delayslater) reported

Media: 👨🏻 find me a stock that went down after S & P inclusion. 👩🏻 looks like AOL went down 👨🏻 Tesla is now AOL. Write that story! 👩🏻 but there’s really no comparis.... 👨🏻 just make it work!

  • 28delayslater 🐶Earl of Frunkpuppy🐶 (@28delayslater) reported

AOL dominated but fell after dial up modems became obsolete and a terrible merger with Time Warner. There’s no Tesla merger happening and EVs are the future. Other than they both joined the S & P, there is no similarity.

  • FinanceDirCFO Alastair Thomson - Finance Director and CFO (@FinanceDirCFO) reported

@zsk Suspect a bit like all those people still on AOL or dial-up internet, it's very much a minority niche, but probably a very profitable one. Only puzzle is I'm not sure that niche would immediately strike me as likely to be avid commercial radio listeners, but you never know!

  • NamesOfLondon Phrases.for.Sale シ (@NamesOfLondon) reported

@jpr007 AOL never had a game-changing technology, they had a giant BBS system & failed to adapt to the Internet & websites, when it was already out-growing their proprietary walled-garden tech

  • KishorBlue2 Kishor_Blue (@KishorBlue2) reported

@MapquestB @MapQuest **** you for making me homeless and long termed unemployed when the owner sold it to AOL and got me stuck in Denver with a Pathological Narcissitic parent that help my long term unemployment and homelessness

  • Factsofw0rld Amazing facts! (@Factsofw0rld) reported

As of 2015 more than 2 million people were still using AOL dial-up service.

  • HellsBoard Hell's Ouija Board (@HellsBoard) reported

@denyoha27 @ChristianWalk1r 1) He blocked me because his feelings got hurt. 2) If bad decisions make people poor, the CEOs of Kodak, Sears, Bear Stearns, the Taj Mahal casino, and AOL would all be on Food Stamps.
