@EE I have had problems with data gifting because the option doesn't appear. This has gone on for months and I have to call your technical helpline to transfer data to my son. Are there any fixes to the app, because this is a real pain!

  • paulgfromhg
Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, England

@EE visited your Leeds Briggate store today. Complete waste of time. Completely unable to assist. Only interested in trying to sell me an upgrade. Not impressed. Why am I bothering with s contract when your post-sales support is so piss-poor.

  • paulgfromhg
Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, England

Don't generally do recommendations. But here's one. Never, ever use @EE. Their 'customer service' is like paying a monthly fee to be repeatedly kicked in the bollocks. Truly dreadful experience. Avoid.

  • paulgfromhg
Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, England

@EE the usual shambolic level of service from your Harrogate store. Why can't your staff get even basic bits of information right. More inconvenience for me. Thanks very much for wasting my time.

  • Sturgibee
Mel Sturgess (@Sturgibee) reported from Harrogate, England

@EE Help needed STILL! EE messed up. 18 months of being ignore! I'm a number, I'm faceless and now I'm cashless. No live chat just lies and sad kittens.

  • marmalade86
paul williamson (@marmalade86) reported from Thirsk, England

@EE I had it until I upgraded but they said I would have to cancel it to upgrade then add it back on. But I can’t find it on the website to add it like I had done previously

  • paulgfromhg
Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, England

In case anyone missed it the first time, I repeat my recommendation to never, ever use @EE and if you do, then don't believe a word they say. If they can't squeeze more cash out you then they aren't interested. Set of chiselling shysters.

  • andrewinripon
Andrew Newton (@andrewinripon) reported from Sharow, England

@EE very efficient service to deal with my lack of connection to the phone network. A chatty person on Tweet.

  • paulpsynergy
Paul Parkinson (@paulpsynergy) reported from Harrogate, England

@EE I have been a customer since the early 90’s via orange. Run our business phones through you. I am seriously considering leaving you. I live 12 minutes walk from the centre of Harrogate HG1 post Codd and cannot get a 3/4G Signal on my street or in my home 1/2.

  • paulgfromhg
Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, England

Apparently it's time for my mobile phone 'upgrade'. In other words I will waste an afternoon arguing with the dreadful @EE with them trying to flog me some Chinese crap whilst I try (and usually fail) to keep my temper. Wish me luck.

  • PCmakeup

EE Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Malcolm_Sillick
    Malcolm Sillick (@Malcolm_Sillick) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Lellani, it's not just EE, it's everyone. Even those on cable (Virgin Media) still have to have the phone plugged into the router. Seems like a good idea, until you get a power cut (which can be supported by a back-up battery, which is NOT given as standard) If the internet goes down, then so does your phone. Great if you have a mobile, but if you live in an area with a poor mobile signal, so reply on 'Wi-Fi calling' in the house, then when the internet goes down, you also have no mobile service. It's called progress!!

  • kitkat_wba
    Kate (@kitkat_wba) reported

Actually impossible to speak to @EE. An hour and 15 min wait is a joke. Won't even let me sign in online because the account was set up wrong. Guess just stick with broadband that keeps dropping out. May be best to switch.

  • ian_wardell
    Ian Wardell (@ian_wardell) reported

@EE As I've said, I've already tried around 20 times, and I've already said this 150 simply doesn't work, hence cannot be a legitimate number. How many more times must I try?? If one has to have a mobile contract with EE than this would explain it.

  • BagFleaBag
    Jo Oliver πŸ’œπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ (@BagFleaBag) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE Oh and the mast had gone down too so the mobile phone wouldn’t work either! I had to drive over to check on my parents.

  • Oradaman
    Jackson Eagleson (@Oradaman) reported

@EE I tried to cancel my recent upgrade order within the 14 day period. However I was told I would revert to being in a 24 month contract. I don't think that's legal but means I will need to sever my @BT contact completely. At this point there has still been no equipment delivered.

  • VisionsofGold
    VisionsofGold (@VisionsofGold) reported

So @ee after calling 150 the answer is no. 18 years of customer loyalty gets you nothing. Couldn't even waive the early upgrade fee. A real shame. Better to wait until the end of the contract and leave? @MartinSLewis @MoneySavingExp

  • cliffc100
    cliff cook (@cliffc100) reported

@TheDealEnvoy @EE This applys to anyone from any company or organisation that sends you a one time passcode the genuine company will never ask for this code anyone doing is a scammer trying to access your account

  • TheEvEngineer
    EVEngineer (@TheEvEngineer) reported

@sophie_reed98 @EE Like @gigaclear Β£46 for me a customer of 3 years and new customers Β£19 for a faster service. Should be illegal

  • bonnar30014
    Anna Bonnar πŸŽ—οΈπŸšœ 🧬🚸 (@bonnar30014) reported

@LeilaniDowding @EE True. My parents, in their 90s, have been endangered by not being able to phone out for help when EE has not been able to maintain coverage. @EE

  • PhilCoyne
    Phil Coyne (@PhilCoyne) reported

@EE Don't worry though, I've already contacted my MP and will send everything over to Watchdog soon. Great way to treat a disabled customer, I'm sure the public will be shocked at the behaviour of a multi million pound company πŸ‘
