Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, EnglandDon't generally do recommendations. But here's one. Never, ever use @EE. Their 'customer service' is like paying a monthly fee to be repeatedly kicked in the bollocks. Truly dreadful experience. Avoid.
-
paul williamson (@marmalade86) reported from Thirsk, England@EE I had it until I upgraded but they said I would have to cancel it to upgrade then add it back on. But I canβt find it on the website to add it like I had done previously
-
Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, EnglandIn case anyone missed it the first time, I repeat my recommendation to never, ever use @EE and if you do, then don't believe a word they say. If they can't squeeze more cash out you then they aren't interested. Set of chiselling shysters.
-
Pamela Clare (@PCmakeup) reported from Harrogate, EnglandHe everyone avoid @EE at all COST β Stuck in a two year contract that was miss sold. Never run out of data they said... LIES LIES LIES. #poorcustomerservice AVOID AVOID AVOID

Paul Garton (@paulgfromhg) reported from Harrogate, EnglandApparently it's time for my mobile phone 'upgrade'. In other words I will waste an afternoon arguing with the dreadful @EE with them trying to flog me some Chinese crap whilst I try (and usually fail) to keep my temper. Wish me luck.

EE Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
ironchimp (@ironchimp) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Itβs your infrastructure, just like the old tv signal infrastructure was yours and not the damned stateβs.
-
Jules (@julesw1lko) reported@EE Yep - just spent an hour on the phone. No resolution other than to transition to digital voice which will take till the 8th!!! Whatβs worse - is your phone people were utterly unrepentant there was an error from EEβs side. I now need to teach a 90 year old to use a mobile for the first time!!
-
PIX (@PIXX3L5) reportedI'm convinced that zero humans work for @EE what a **** storm of conflicting information. Repeating yourself over and over with different outcomes to only be put to someone else and repeat again and then told different information and other person wrong. FU EE FU
-
Jackson Eagleson (@Oradaman) reported@EE I tried to cancel my recent upgrade order within the 14 day period. However I was told I would revert to being in a 24 month contract. I don't think that's legal but means I will need to sever my @BT contact completely. At this point there has still been no equipment delivered.
-
Also Stu (@stuinweymouth) reported@EE Looked on app. Still has original contract. No sign of new one. I know you have cancelled it. Itβs not the first time. I will just cancel it and go elsewhere. The number is not important although can be ported. I have 9 lines and 5 out of contract. Your choice
-
Marcus (@Marcus_91_) reported@Amy_90_x @EE FFS that is ridiculous ππ You can never be too sure nowadays with all the scam callers π€¬π€¬ Tbh i don't get many anymore but I don't answer any calls unless it's a number I have saved in my phone
-
Anna Bonnar ποΈπ π§¬πΈ (@bonnar30014) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE True. My parents, in their 90s, have been endangered by not being able to phone out for help when EE has not been able to maintain coverage. @EE
-
VisionsofGold (@VisionsofGold) reportedSo @ee after calling 150 the answer is no. 18 years of customer loyalty gets you nothing. Couldn't even waive the early upgrade fee. A real shame. Better to wait until the end of the contract and leave? @MartinSLewis @MoneySavingExp
-
Ed Peters (@mr_ed_peters) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE The old PSTN network is being phased out (copper wires, low voltage old school telephones) as I recall. The phones you're thinking of won't be around much longer. Unless someone tells me otherwise.
-
Mark McWilliams (@markmcwilliams) reported@EE A week later and they've now closed my complaint with no further contact from yourselves whatsoever, and I'm still unable to upgrade. Luckily I can vote with my feet and just move away. Way to go @EE ! πππ
