Seemed Legit to me and I’m pretty clued up on Scam Calls, but I genuinely don’t think this is! How did they know that was one of my only PAYG numbers? Now they can't guarantee being able to phone for assistance during a power cut. Had to get new mobiles because 3G was turned off yet I work in parts of the country with no signal at all.

Lumpy Pete (@LumpyPete) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE They did this to us a couple of years ago, bought an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) for any power cuts which happens a lot round here. Can't help thinking we'll regret getting rid of landlines, we're putting all our eggs in one (digital) basket, no good will come of it.

Tried to order a bundle of bits for my new phone online, you took my money and promptly informed me it's all out of stock and it wont be refunded to me for up to 14 days. Not great!
