@tescomobile I was with tesco for 4 years, i switched to EE (most 4G coverage in the uk btw..) to consolidate my home broadband, tv and mobile into one bill. Worst mistake. @EE say most coverage but that doesnt account for quality of coverage, so many times you have "4G" but no signal bars---

@EE That's not the customers problem though is it? 000's have lost their jobs and you're punishing people in a pandemic when money is tight and people need phones. You have 27m customers so £2 works out at £648m a year extra for EE. Every carrier apart from Tesco, inflation only

@EE If I stand outside, I might get a bar of signal. Indoors - nothing! Been like this since yesterday. When are you fixing it please?

@EE So the member of your team lied to me on the phone then. Never had a direct debit taken out on the 8th and I’ve never paid it over the phone on the 8th. Just another made up date. Its just getting me excited for my next bill increase

@EE Secondly, very nice of you to help the vulnerable (honestly) but why pass that cost onto the customer? What are profits for? Sick of MASSIVE companies guilting their customers when they ask about price increases after having company costs passed onto them. It's a nonsense.

@EE @mattyhighamZA Kind of makes a mockery of the word "contract" though doesn't it? If the customer changed the amount they paid you you would penalise them for breaching that contract. Contracts work both ways.

@mattyhighamZA @tescomobile @EE Yep breach of contract. Just cancel the contract or refuse to pay the price rise. Don't pay more for less

@EE Setting up a new contract with you is what happened. Terrible mistake
