@EE basically lied that they wouldn't change their roaming charges in Europe. What they should have said is: "we won't change the charges for now to make you keep trust in us and then a little while down the line we'll change our tune"

@EE At £2 per day the money you’ll make won’t cover the amount of bad feeling and the defections to other networks this will cause,poor business planning.

@BBCNews Certainly not an incentive to join @EE as a new customer, nor a reason to stay. You'd think competitors would jump on this but I guess it's a reflection of quality not quantity from customers - ie wanting high spenders rather than loads of customers.

@wavey_gravey @EE Honestly, I'm not entirely sure EE can be entirely blamed here. The reason Roaming works is because the EU forced reciprocal waiving of access to networks. If, however, EE, O2, etc are being charged by network providers in Germany, Poland, etc then those costs need passing on.

Dear @EE As a long-standing customer, I am appalled that you are reintroducing roaming charges for UK customers. I appreciate this applies to new customers only (for now!) but I am very angry that there can be only one reason: GREEDY PROFITEERING UNSCRUPULOUS BASTARDS 1/2
