@Matt_H_UK @EE You just don't get it! We DON'T have a mobile signal. During power cuts NO wifi so no WhatsApp. Using an old style plug in phone we (have so far) ALWAYS been able to make phone calls - those of us who ( currently are not digital) BT changed me to digital plusnet changed me back

@EE Hello, I have a family emergency in Germany, but I don't seem to be able to make any calls to a German network (only possible to call WhatsApp and threema). Is there a network disruption? I need to be able to make a call to a German hospital. Thanks
