@EE hi, EE customer here. I've stopped receiving texts from family in USA, and they aren't getting my texts from UK. Is there any possible reason why this would be the case?

@EE complety wasted trip to our local EE store. You’re phone support gave us totally the wrong information and wasted a whole day. Phone still doesn’t work, now can’t get through on the phone either

@MarinaPurkiss @EE Not surprised, I took out a new contract with them in April, 2025. £27 monthly for SIM only. At checkout I paid the £27, first bill arrives for £77 they didn’t say a word about £50 deposit for my line. Nothing. Passed credit check to. I am a BT broadband customer paid on time.

@MarinaPurkiss @EE The main thing is do not give up getting your mum’s money back. Personally I’ve been lucky with EE in store assistance but customer service is usually a different matter. Hopefully a resolution will come soon

@MarinaPurkiss @EE I've had trouble with EE. They misled me over roaming charges, eventually refunded me but recently signed me up for phone/broadband package and now pay twice what I did before. Really push against them. Or consult a solicitor. Good luck

@MarinaPurkiss @ElyzabethSB @EE I had an issue with Virgin Media. I wasn't getting any sense from customer service. I then escalated to their solicitor.. they couldn't have been any nicer. Really apologetic, issued was sorted within a few days. Your mum is protected by Equality Act too.

@MarinaPurkiss @EE Dreadful .I see they've responded to your tweet with offers of help .Best way of shaming them. Trouble is that many people don't have access to X & have to try & deal with matters without much help .Shame on you, EE ! Hope it gets sorted Marina x

@MarinaPurkiss @EE Being charged £500 for a call she *did* make to New York would be bad enough to get personal.

@MarinaPurkiss @EE Sounds like evidence of a crime rather than an EE complaint (good old fashioned phreaking).
