@christop_hall @virginmedia Yes. Had Virgin cable TV for a number of years and enjoyed it but costs kept rising. When I reduced services the cost went up! So decided to cancel and just do Freeview. Then the real "leaving problems" began. Nightmare. Never regretted going though and Freeview is fine.

@9edroPires @pqp_f1 If you watch or record TV on any channel via any TV service (e.g. Sky, Virgin, Freeview, Freesat), you need to be covered by a TV Licence. 1/2

Has anyone else noticed how many times you have too retune FreeView? I’ve seen any difference in programs of which they conveniently make a statement off say You may not see any difference. So my question is what are they either uploading or down loading???

If yours is connected to the internet and it still isn't working, please give the Freeview helpline a ring at 03456 505050 and they should be able to advise you further. @SQR45 @FreeviewAdvice Hi Ian, sorry to hear you’re having issues with your TV! If using Freeview, could you please check ch. 27 and 44, as they are on the same service as us? If they are also missing, try giving the Freeview helpline a ring at 03456 505050. I hope you get back to watching TPTV ASAP!

The fact is that Neil Oliver is continuing to spout dangerous drivel on a Freeview channel and he has an army of fans and voices and big names willing to back him up. Calling that **** out should not be down to one or two people on twitter and just ignoring it is not an option

@SollyIan @ITV ITV was recently granted an Ofcom licence which would allow ITV1 to broadcast in HD in the Channel Islands, however, there is currently insufficient Freeview/satellite capacity to provide the service in addition to other channels. We are aware of the issue and are working to fix.
