@Matey30 @virginmedia Nothing less than I’ve come to expect from them. Service has been so bad which is why we’ve left their tv service. Had to keep the broadband for now due to limitations of other local providers. Now watching freeview…

@mrgrahamreed @BBCiPlayer I think I only saw season 1 on Sky 3 on Freeview. Never saw the rest of it. The classic '70s Battlestar got shown on BBC 2, in the '90s.

2 days lost so far waiting for @bt_uk to turn up for an appointment to fix phone and broadband. 10 days with no service and different excuses each time. It's the hope that does you :) never thought I would be thankful for freeview.

@dramachannel The trouble is the general bit rate and 540x544 resolution are so poor on Freeview that even the adverts and trailers frequently look like they are being played from a badly worn VHS tape, add archive material to that and it becomes a blocky detail free mess.

@Chris_Ince The issue is they can only have 2 streams at any one time as part of their licensing deal. So better to have it on Red Button at all times than fill 2 main channels where other shows would usually be on. % without access to Freeview for red button channel is surely very small?

@NickBuckleyMBE @DefundBBC Totally agree. I've been saying this for years. Unlike other people who suggest turning it into a subscription service, I say just force them to show commercials instead like all the other channels on Freeview.

@JackPittBrooke Going on to the Super League, would those owners have wanted games on the BBC or another Freeview channel? They might even have considered a Super League version of MOTD too much content not to put on their own streaming service or in a very expensive TV contract

@amazonfiretv Just done an update. Now my tv is stuck on Home Screen. Can’t watch freeview tv, change input. Can only watch Netflix prime and Disney. No freeview no PlayStation. Help.
