@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@robz26 @gingerjennn onlyfans is just a service, that’s what you pay for. it gives you more content that you want to see, from girls you want to see it from. you had the option to only use freeview but i bet you still use virgin/sky and netflix

@smashingpaps @flanders1914 The comparison would be with the TV signal, not the TV itself. I doubt there's any TV sold nowadays that doesn't have a freeview receiver built in. Likewise the free broadband would provide the 'signal', the equipment for utilising it would be separate - be it a phone, laptop, tv

@gindan82 Talk talk TV isn’t great - it’s basically just Freeview with a few streamed channels (which are not in HD and you really notice). I hated their customer service too

Getting sick of @AdultWorkcom #DirectIM not working. This is day 4 of Freeview kicking people. My regulars are angry at me like it's my fault. I got told it was an issue my end to begin with.. I said from day one was a bug. Does anyone know any other sites? I need to be earning.

@CFL1959 @FreeviewAdvice Is yours a Sony TV too? Freeview passed me on to Sony who have passed the issue to their technical staff. That was yesterday. Maybe Lee got a reply as he contacted Sony before me.

@SaintshaneD @virginmedia Call them and explain you cant afford what they are asking for and see what they can do. I did that and my price went down - not by much but all helps. I have 200mb, TV Max (freeview with a few more extra channels) weekend phone 45/m. I stream movies and sport.

@BBCSimonMcCoy What happened near the end of the One O'clock News today? The screen went blank, then a few seconds of the news music, then Johnson speaking in the House of Commons. The Freeview information box said 'No Signal'. I am in the Crystal Palace transmission area.

Dear @virginmedia just received your email confirming you are doing a big price hike, during a pandemic, when your level of service is atrocious, I’m basically paying for freeview. Where on my account can I find out when my contract expires, as this is a step too far.

@GlasgowNotOsteo @Lochrie I don’t have freeview. I’ve got CNN back now though. I think @Lochrie’s right - it’s a bandwidth issue.

@Aim2GTC Basically! If I can get it to do TV and basic Freeview functions, then I can use my phone for my Apple TV, so I’m down to two for most stuff. I’d take that as a win. 👍🏼
