@mycampervan We use a @roku streaming device for TV but when WiFi signal isn't good, the aerial always gets a good Freeview signal.

@davidgstrachan @karenjellis @MartinSLewis It's a good point! Wouldn't want the Beeb to go down the Advertising route, as IMV it ruins the viewing experience & of course means the same advertising revenue spread over more channels. Of course the Gov could pay to make it available on Freeview (they need to keep that first)

@RestoreTVHelp Thank you very much for solving a long term issue I had with my Freeview Channels. Cards through the letter box normally go in the bin! Got one from RTV. Filled out online form, called them, 2 days later magic little box arrived and 5 mins later problem solved👍🙏

@commaficionado I think I preferred analogue TV static to when the Freeview boxes first came out, because you could still watch through a bit of static, but with digital it would go all pixelated and then lose the signal when there was a bad storm, which happened quite often in rainy Manchester.

Have questioned why so few stations on Freeview in BN12 area. The reply from Freeview indicates reception in the area is poor as only a relay service & many stations not provided. Here is the conversation & how to complain to improve the service if you agree (I want Sky Arts)

@rlrossi64 Good question. I'm guessing: network television; broadcast TV; digital TV channels; Freeview. Creates a distinction between those and streaming services, I guess.

So now we have lost the Breeze music channel from NZ Freeview, and have instead more low-value 'reality', game shows and other such garbage.
