🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England@Matey30 @virginmedia Nothing less than I’ve come to expect from them. Service has been so bad which is why we’ve left their tv service. Had to keep the broadband for now due to limitations of other local providers. Now watching freeview…

Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported@steveboswell @gsvalentine 2013/14 Samsungs certainly did - support for MHEG-IC was part of getting certified with Freeview HD logo.
-
Alistair Smith (@alistairsmith77) reported@smashingpaps @flanders1914 I don't agree. Comes down to whether something can be classed as an (essential?) utility or a luxury. Internet access is probably as much of an utility now as a TV signal. Basic broadband should be provided on the same principle as freeview is provided.

Daniel Cremin ✂️ (@DanielCreminUK) reported@mistylou43 News UK TV is said to be an evening time only service. My understanding is it will be on Freeview, Sky, Virgin and YouTube, etc. Free to air, but advertising based. GB News will be either 18 or 24 hours and will similarly be cross platform. Real choice is coming.

Ian Greaves (@GreavesIan) reported@worldoftelly The Sky Arts signal on Freeview tonight is more shocking than Johnny Rotten, so I'll have to bow out.

UK Terrestrial TV (@ukdtt) reportedChannel 99, Manchester TV, has been added to @ManchesterTVNet (was unlisted [Service 0x76c1]) #Freeview
-
Amateur Investor (@AmateurInvest15) reported@RogersWork @binarybits @timtimothyboom Believe it or not here in the UK we only had 4 free to air channels for most of my childhood. Since digital we also get 30ish freeview channels, but they are largely crap. Most people pay for something on top, Netflix, Sky, Virgin etc...

The Ragpicker (@RogerGrahamD) reported@talkRADIO Is there a Freeview channel going spare? Elbow one those awful shopping channels, or better still RT.
-
martin mcsheen (@McsheenMartin) reportedWe live in a digital age. I can find three hundred and twelvety channels of **** on the most basic freeview TV. How on earth could we get lessons to pupils en masse ?
-
Ade Carr (@AdeCarrMusic) reported@MrSugden2 Netflix, freeview just shockingly crap.
-
Ralph Gill (@RalphGill25) reported@thismorning Schools - Given that we have a National Curriculum why can't lessons be broadcast on additional Freeview TV channels? Most households have more than one way to watch TV and its not relying on broadband. Class teachers can provide support and mark homework.
