@creag123 @goldchannel Absolutely agree, Gold would be a great addition, Sure it's not the same channel it used to be, But there could be a fix, Extend the gold brand to drama, Include gold comedy. And gold itself in its original form to Freeview, with the spin offs left with subscription TV

@newt_kiters I guess when I get round to actually get sky, I won’t need a dish or a set-top box or anything. I’m assuming it will come straight through the TV through the Internet. The trouble is I don’t watch a lot of TV I’m usually listening to music or out walking. Only Freeview

Personally, I'm not particularly bothered by it all. I've not had a particular interest in Pokémon for a while, but I never watched the anime much as a kid. I never saw it on TV in the UAE and it never seemed to be on Freeview in the UK on a regular schedule either.

@JellyTotPixel @bbcmtd It's the signal not the equipment that's causing the problem even with HD freeview this problem still happens in some areas of the UK, where I live you can't get it with a portable HD receiver, I have to use satellite. as Freeview don't work well.

  • damoxl Damo (@damoxl) reported

@Mark_P0x0n @LucyMPowell But I might want to watch something on freeview that requires adverts & a properly costed budget to fund (not BBC) So why should I pay for the BBC when their model is at best a tax on live TV of any sort? This is where the BBC falls down in the modern era, it's simply outdated

@Elliot_CB @LeeAndersonMP_ No I pay for the things you don’t get with the “free service”. Like the sky compared to freeview. That fact you can’t figure that out shows the level you’re working with. Try harder.

@markisawimp @garyb007 Signal should be the same as before (same frequency, same transmitter). Your TV may have added a weaker copy from a relay in the 800s. You'll probably have to do a full retune, that'll ensure you have all the latest Freeview channel updates.

How far do you expect this £150 disability cost of living payment to go? - #KayBurley says this one-off payment comes on top of other support for those with disabilities. 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

  • a516digital Mike (@a516digital) reported

@colin1951uk The investment is partly in hogging empty Freeview channel numbers in the 60s,70s and 80s, so if anyone wants to launch a new service and doesn't want bumping off to the 90s on the channel list, they'll have to strike an EPG trade deal, earning That's TV a nice sum of money.
