Douglass_McFarnham (@douglassfarnham) reported@Steven59066 Wasnt it because u was angry at government itself for closing down freeview, u thought you’d get their f*cking attention this time,

'darnstadium' (@darnstadium) reportedThere's an interesting problem here. Switching off Freeview would make spectrum available for 5/6G, but at the (enormous) cost of putting all that bandwidth on existing connections. Not least all the perfectly good non-smart TVs that would become E-waste overnight.
-
Anne Wells (@annewells26) reported@NotFarLeftAtAll All part of controlling us. I don’t have TV packages only Freeview & my internet is bad so don’t watch much anyway, barely anything in summer. Unfair for the elderly.
-
Nigel Keeling (@Traighbon08) reported@reformparty_uk Most working classes have a dodgy stick and pay about £100 for every channel known to man. They couldn't give a **** about Freeview. You clearly know your voters.
-
GSG2590 (@gsg2590) reported@JoshCF_ They're a joke now, two years ago the deal was £45 with basic freeview and Sky Q and now it's £63. They've also ended customer support on here and UK based customer calls. The app regularly messes up now, doesn't recognise you've paid and you end up getting charged again 😑
-
Tony Chalcroft (@TonyChalcroft) reported@BladeoftheS I do support the BBC and agree it needs an alternative method of funding. When Freeview is turned off a mix of subscription for drama and entertainment shows and funding from general taxation for children’s, educational and current affairs programmes would seem sensible.

✨🔥ℝⓊ𝔰тץкภ𝒾𝔾ħ𝔱_ / Brick Ch4pel🔥✨ (@rustyknight_) reportedThere is a weird bug where save/load files from freeview perspective (i.e. the one that isn't the isometric top down view) causes double-prompts on saving/loading existing names

Ashford Kent Police (@AshfordKentGov) reported@Steven59066 Keir starmer shouldn't be shutting down Freeview really, its not on, luckily you have Dvds from London Soho to keep you entertained right, - AKP

smoking the phonicvirus (@4doorsmorepaws) reported@codfish246 yuhh i think we had freesat cause of the awful freeview signal, my nan had the exact same box lol (and my grandma had the exact same telly!) upstairs we had a freeview telly and someone had to stand and wave the portable aerial around a bit to get a clear picture

jason_mi7 (@Mi7Jason) reported@WhichUK For live events, internet speed isn’t everything. For reliability and lowest delay, broadcast TV still wins: Freeview, satellite or cable. Fibre streaming is great but usually behind “live”. 5G/4G/Starlink can work well, but depend more on signal, congestion and load.
