@LarsNewbould Can’t really help much as these two episodes were back to back ( ch 54 on Freeview ) and are the only ones I have seen. Suggest checking the program schedule as I think there are more later in the week. Glad your son has taken an interest in what is a large part of our history.

@_i0n Where you live got reception probs then mate? Like hills blocking a signal? Where I live is a bit of a nightmare. Cos the high channels on Freeview I can't get cos 5G wipes them out.

@OttoTheSecond Might do that next time. Hoping the final is in 4K so my telly can take advantage of it. Providing of course that ITV show it and have support for it. Disappointed there in no 4K content on freeview or iPlayer at all...

@TreeHouseBkshop I feel I'm missing out on this too, but I've always relied on Freeview. There's more TV than I can spend time watching, so I've never seen the point of paying for content I'll never get around to viewing - until now!

@ImagesZx It seems to rely on what the definition of live TV. If a live program is available on Freeview, Cable TV or Sky (or any related streaming service) then that requires a license. You need fire example a license to watch Sky News live on YouTube. (1/2)

@MisterVivian @cleanfeed_ttvr Saorview uses DVB-T / MPEG4, so it's the other way around. MPEG4 actually allows broadcasters to fit more channels on a multiplex. As a result, Sky News at 704x576 can be done at similar bitrates as a 544x576 service on UK Freeview. You may remember Sky once wanted to launch...

@SkyHelpTeam Regretting getting skygo. Not only are we basically paying for freeview the satellite signal has been gone all evening. This isn't the 1970s. Absolute joke and will be cancelled.

@virginmedia avoid this lot. Landline hardly ever works, Internet says its fast but there are lags that mean you can't hold a normal MSTeams meeting and more TV stations on Freeview. Also impossible to cancel since you have to sit waiting for useless AI to respond. Just say NO
