Darren Clark (@DarrenClark1971) reported from Stainton and Thornton, EnglandCan’t believe how truly terrible EETV is. Tuning freeview channels is atrocious. Currently get 43, no BBC, ITV or any basic ones using new aerial. If it does find them they just disappear. Bedroom TV gets all the freeview ones and that’s on an old aerial in the same spot. #EETV

Matthew Paul Wood (@mwoodwriting) reported from Redcar, EnglandThere's an important point to be made about internet freedom and search algorithms but I can't be bothered all that so... The internet is like Freeview now. "Do you want this crap thing you didn't ask for on CNN 1, CNN 2, or CNN extra?" 😾

Jim Gardner 🇺🇦 (@Jim_Gardner_) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England@mrjamesob If the Gammon aren't careful, the only British values we'll have left will be brown sauce, calling Freeview "Normal Telly" and wrought iron silhouettes of a WW2 solider we're told to never forget, even though he died defending Europe, The Rule of Law, and Refugees.

365 Days of Dave (@timbcaycgi) reported@ChrisHazzardSF My understanding is that RTE services work on the Freeview platform via terrestrial signal deep beyond the boarder counties. With RTE themselves saying that the signal strength is high in the boarder region and moderate beyond

Popeye (@PopeyeFreeview) reportedIt looks like QVC shopping channel is in financial in trouble? It's QVC made life hard for Freeview from beginning for refusing having shopping channels in one place. If QVC goes bust Freeview will be celebrating and get back channel 16?

Joseph H Clarke (@clarkejoseph49) reported@aVillainsWorld @Noahgilberto19 And not having Zero hour matches carry over into the Pay Per View. Let’s not forget, some people can’t access PPV in the event of financial issues, internet issues, or being stuck with Freeview.
-
Gary Richmond (@gaswold) reported@archivetvmus71 I adored The Rockford Files. Garner was superb. Can't understand why it never gets any repeats on any of the Freeview channels.
-
Andy (@jump_drive_flyr) reportedOh look, the morning is misty (like most warm day mornings) and I have spotty at best Freeview reception on most channels, why did we ever let the analogue signal go?
-
Gillian Jamieson (@GillRaeWalker) reportedSupport @silvervoicesuk! "17 million people watch Freeview each week & 9 million rely solely on broadcast TV, more than half of whom are aged over 65. It would be cruel & irresponsible to force the most vulnerable households in the country to require an expensive broadband contract in order to continue watching TV." I agree. This group does great work! They also campaign to keep our fully reliable copper landlines, which will work in any electrical or internet outage unlike any other option.

Mr Mega Dump (@ChestneyS) reported@darrengrimes Nothing decided yet so I’ll wait until it actually happens before deciding to cancel my subscriptions or not. Tv companies are losing customers right left and centre due to the constant inflation plus 3.9%. I’m seriously looking at just getting a freeview box and a “fire stick “

Intars (@intars) reportedOnly the Brits could reach the top tier of world ice hockey and then have literally zero channels bother showing their games. Proper GB support: ‘We’ll die on the beaches… but not on Freeview, mate. Just pay €30 for the official stream like a proper mug.’
