Can’t believe how truly terrible EETV is. Tuning freeview channels is atrocious. Currently get 43, no BBC, ITV or any basic ones using new aerial. If it does find them they just disappear. Bedroom TV gets all the freeview ones and that’s on an old aerial in the same spot. #EETV

There's an important point to be made about internet freedom and search algorithms but I can't be bothered all that so... The internet is like Freeview now. "Do you want this crap thing you didn't ask for on CNN 1, CNN 2, or CNN extra?" 😾

@Dolly_Darren Ok. Mine did the same to me. I switched it off at the mains (along with the Freeview box), promised never to watch ITV3 again, left it for about an hour and when I switched it back on it came back to life. Sadly, not designed to last now!

@FreeviewAdvice retuning does nothing.. no channels! Looking at the local forums many people are experiencing the same. Can you comment on actual service status in the SG11 area? Information on tuning my Freeview box is useless if there are no services...

@GMB @susannareid100 Cancel Sky for starters. Loads of good stuff on Freeview. Those £60 trainers little Chantelle wants? Don't buy them. Cook from scratch. Get a big bag of spuds and a tin of corned beef and do potato hash. Live within your means.

@FreeviewTV good evening freeview I recently retuned and manage to get the missing channels added but now we can get no information and the time is stuck on the 7th Sept. Nothing but problems with this toshiba tv. Your help will be much appreciated.

It’s weird that there are five or six miserable 24hr news channels on freeview but not one 24hr sports news channel. There’s a big gap right there for a broadcaster to pivot their stupid 24hr cycle from ‘relentlessly depressing’ to ‘relentlessly (mostly) uplifting and fun’.

@MintRoyale Weird. I've never had in HD. Can't get it even if I retune either Part of Ch Fours agreement was it's not available in HD on Freeview... Wonder if it's a regional thing? 🤔
