Continually frustrated by @TalkTalk and its inconsistent service and performance. Have today purchased a freeview recorder to replace their box and will be actively looking for new broadband provider.

Virgin Media broadband is brilliant, phone line and mobile sims good, but their TV offering is poor. Alas, they package them all together. Their basic TV offering is no better than Freeview. The rest are exorbitant Sky packages etc. Apps dead slow through TiVo. Firestick v fast.

When our TV was installed the guy said we didn't need to worry about the satellite signal dropping when the weather was bad because the freeview would easily run through the Sky. Well guess what, it is absolutely pouring down with rain and we've lost all signal!
