@Fern_McGovern @SIofting @jckhth Nope. You can pay for a better service. Just as you can have Freeview TV, standard channels, most in standard definition but functional, or you can pay more for Netflix/Amazon/etc, Sky or BT with movies and sport in HD. Same principle applies.

@Claire_Pickard @sueashton3000 Many residents in Sunderland & along the Durham Coast also receive Freeview Channels from the Bilsdale transmitter. The fire is also likely to have knocked out about 30 relay stations, which "feed" on signals from Bilsdale. I wouldn't like to climb up the transmitter to fix it!

Instead of paying this mob of #r4today presenters obscene six figure salaries to giggle and read a few words off a sheet of paper for a few minutes per week- abolish TV Tax and let the poor bennefit from the saving. Plenty of TV and radio on Freeview non BBC channels @BBCr4today

@FreeviewTV hi. We need E4 HD on freeview! Can you fight whatever fight you need to fight in order to get E4 HD on freeview please! I've cancelled sky but the only channel I miss is E4 HD! Normal E4 looks bloody awful on my TV :(

@All4 I sometimes watch TV in a room with a smart tv but no aerial socket.I've asked before how I can watch Ch 4 live (esp news!) and was told there should be a 'watch live' button but I have never found it. Please can you tell me where it is. use Freeview.

Don't buy @panasonic Freeview recorders if you want to keep more than a thousand recordings per drive, because that's the stupid arbitrary limit they've set on drives. Want to fill up that 6TB hard drive? Tough, the arbitrary limit means you'll barely full it up at all
