@Fern_McGovern @SIofting @jckhth Nope. You can pay for a better service. Just as you can have Freeview TV, standard channels, most in standard definition but functional, or you can pay more for Netflix/Amazon/etc, Sky or BT with movies and sport in HD. Same principle applies.

@aboveeg By ghosting you mean that shadowy effect there used to be on the old analogue signals years ago? Digital signal seems different ... just breaks up / buffers/ whatever they call it. Its so bad this evening have nothing watchable. We're not on Sky, just Freeview: nothing working.

Just tried to retune Freeview and I've lost the multiplex with BBC News HD and BBC4 HD amongst others. Is there a problem with the Belmont transmitter or is it my end of things? cc @looknorthbbc

@FreeviewAdvice When Digital Freeview TV first came about for the first few years it was nowhere near as bad as this only the odd day here or the with no picture or bad picture but these days it’s more regular atleast 2 times per month.
