Could it be a receiver problem or a Freeview problem. Also takes ages to change channels. (Milton Keynes)

You do not need a license to play games, dvds, most of netflix prime etc, that's why so many are cancelling it, we are paying for ****.

Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2

I did get a bargain smallish 'internet / smart' TV but no use when freezes or internet cuts off (been happening for years, with no fix). It's on a terrible indoor aerial, so I can't get most Freeview on that one but my fave usual telly: Freeview.

x (@sk_tony) reported@Selene_Mariposa The law says you need to be covered by a TV Licence to: watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky or Freeview) or watch TV live on any streaming service On any device. You can opt out n if you don’t do the above. So it is not a tax for simply owning a TV
