@mikeportsmouth We got £40 off very easily by saying we were going to leave, but still too much so will be looking at the options in this thread. But have a good Ariel now so Freeview for us just to decide which broadband to go for. Virgin are awful though. Good luck

@a516digital @BBC Thanks done all this. As I have exactly the same issues with BBC FOUR HD on a freesat box (itv/bbc type) which runs off a different dish and on a different tv I really don’t think on this occasion it’s me or my equipment. SD fine. Freeview HD also fine. All other channels ok.

@JuliaLopezMP I was going to gripe about the iniquity of Jury service, where those who hate the idea are press ganged into it on pain of a £1000 fine, but on seeing your position.... Freeview has an expiry date, the 2038 Linux bug - specifying as UNSIGNED format would solve

@BBCOneDrama as freeview premieres this christmas plus two or three expensive stand alone drama specials the world does not revolve around eastenders on six times call the midwife plus strictly blankety blank specials there no need to have such poor options on bbc or itv
