Bigwows 💚🤍💜 ✖️✖️🏴 (@bigwows) reported@cmairsy @virginmedia Zen for internet - rock solid and great customer service, not that you’ll need it. But after ditching Virgin we went down the freeview route, I’m afraid.
-
Stephen Neal (@Stephen_Neal) reported@UHD4k @Bobbinz @SVGEurope Afraid although I work for BBC Studios (which makes shows for the BBC) I have no insight into what iPlayer may support in the future. AAC was chosen for Freeview HD because Dolby had no equivalent receiver-mix audio desc'n support in 2009ish when the platform was standardised.

séamussssss 🇨🇩🇮🇪 (@gunnerineirinn) reported@fletcher082 if you watched your dad die of the disease then why put a heart beside it? why not a heart beside your dad? i support the loi, in fact i was the only one in school who did growing up. they stopped showing it on freeview and started again recently. that’s not my fault.

Gary Finney Zair (@finneyzair) reported@inghamjj55 @TheMekon_Venus I pay towards many services out of my tax that I don’t benefit from, but I’m ok doing it because it means others can benefit. Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2
-
LostInFilms🎬 (@Lost_In_Films_) reported@Hi_De_Helen Apparently it's going to get worse all down to Sky but how does that include Freeview losing them too 🤔 All I could find out from Google search piece about it in Sun today.
-

Julie (@Julie2424355376) reported@YouAreAWally @right_far_right Never bought an avocado and we only have Freeview which I'm understanding will disappear soon. One thing I am though is clean, I make my own washing up liquid and washing liquid for clothes. Shower every day with soap and home made shampoo. So off with your stupid assumptions.

KennyBilly (@KeepingKen) reportedOver 13 million households across the UK currently rely on Freeview - and residents could be forced to fork out an additional £20 monthly and potentially purchase a new television set if the service is discontinued, experts have cautioned.
