  @v8oholic @AdventuresVw @Roku I record everything using a freeview box so I can skip all the advert breaks, saves lots of time. My arerial is in my loft, but I have hardwired cat6 network sockets is all rooms too, which are more stable than WiFi.

Freeview channel 7 & 8 That's Local channels are not affected by this. All That's channels on Freeview will be removed from the EPG without notice.   @HisenseUK I bought a 55inch tv I had it for 23months all of a sudden I couldn’t get all freeview stations after 4 calls I was told it was my Ariel now I’m left with a heap of crap.

  @inghamjj55 @TheMekon_Venus I pay towards many services out of my tax that I don’t benefit from, but I’m ok doing it because it means others can benefit. Freeview is the biggest digital platform in the U.K. - used by a lot of peoole aged 60, a % of the licence fee helps maintain that service. 1/2

  @Selene_Mariposa The law says you need to be covered by a TV Licence to: watch or record TV on any channel - via any TV service (e.g. Sky or Freeview) or watch TV live on any streaming service On any device. You can opt out n if you don’t do the above. So it is not a tax for simply owning a TV

  @internetplague It was SUCH a big issue for me. Spent a lot of time fretting about it. Joined many ‘If this page gets 1 million likes, Sky Sports must keep SSN on Freeview’ pages.
