At one point, I was so into Doctor Who that I bought a Freeview box just so I could watch Torchwood on BBC Three, but I fell off after Matt Smith's first series. I've seen a Christmas special or two since and tried a Capaldi episode, but I never managed to get back into it.

Just started watching season 1 of #midnightdiner. How have I missed this Japanese series. Thanks @netflix Nice to see a such a human, funny and meaningful and creative show. Shows what absolute mindless drivel is forced down the public throats on standard freeview channels.

Public Service Announcement: In ten minutes time, the Paramount Network (UK freeview) is going to be showing "Exit Wounds", a 2001 Steven Seagal film that your instincts and remaining sanity would scream at you must surely be awful but which is, in fact, extremely good.
