Looking through the festive TV schedule and there's no Muppet Christmas Carol on any of the freeview channels this year. Never wanted @DisneyPlus to launch more than right now.

@Matey30 @virginmedia Nothing less than I’ve come to expect from them. Service has been so bad which is why we’ve left their tv service. Had to keep the broadband for now due to limitations of other local providers. Now watching freeview…

Not receiving a service who would. A plan that will back fire as I will film the "inspector" when he comes and he demonstrate how&why I should have a licence, good luck with that... Seriously getting pissed off with #BBC @tvlicensing no signal no money from me sort Freeview out

Becca (@4becca4) reported
@virginmedia Tv and internet down in #Nottingham.. Their website is also down and not able to contact them by phone.. Thank goodness for #Freeview!

@amolrajan You must be free to speak, even if it’s hating on Kate who many of us admire and who will be our Queen. If the Beeb feel it’s ok to pay someone with these views, no problem. But we can’t watch other Freeview channels unless we pay for your ‘bricks’ Time for that to change.

Replaced with ONLY BBC channels no ITV/C4/C5 or any other channel. However the signal is weak regardless of how many times you manual tune etc. 1 million homes lost Freeview son9f course 1 million cancelled their license when TVL said no refunds, yes they expected us to pay for

@ScottsRadioSite @BBC_Cumbria True but so does 5G and if we going to update infrastructures it's best to do it same time rather than one after another so they could do that and sort freeview out and roll out better public and private Internet. It shouldn't be patchy network like on a train.

@MisterVivian @cleanfeed_ttvr Saorview uses DVB-T / MPEG4, so it's the other way around. MPEG4 actually allows broadcasters to fit more channels on a multiplex. As a result, Sky News at 704x576 can be done at similar bitrates as a 544x576 service on UK Freeview. You may remember Sky once wanted to launch...

Mike (ex-a516digital) (@a516digital) reported
@MisterVivian @cleanfeed_ttvr ...a pay TV service on UK DTT called Picnic. The idea was to use MPEG4 to fit in four channels in the space occupied by three MPEG2 channels. [MPEG2 in combination with DVB-T is still the standard used for most Freeview channels]

The FREEVIEW transmitter on Guildford's Hog's Back is DOWN. No Freeview TV reception in and around Guildford. UNPRECEDENTED! No idea when NORMAL service will resume.

...WARNING... @SkyHelpTeam got a new SkyQ box and multi room fitted yesterday afternoon, already it is not working! They claim this is the best technology ever, it's not, they just want your money. Stick with freeview people or go to an alternative supplier.
