To be honest, when you've removed the dependency of other real time tv, i cant see many people chipping in. Many will be paying just to watch their subscription service or Freeview.

@adrianweckler Zero interest in Sky for TV. We got rid of it in 2009 with last recession and just watched freeview available channels. People don't realise just how many channels you can watch for free, its fairly decent. Can signup/cancel streaming service as needed then. Big cost savings

@wil20198865 @beverleyturner Doesn't the licence fee also support freeview and freesat that GB News depends on?

I've discovered the most fantastically awful programme on a Freeview channel. Script, direction, acting all splendidly and spectacularly dreadful. I am completely hooked

@revkatebottley My grandparents never embraced the sky experience only for getting a Freeview set top box to receive digital when the old analog tv was turned off.

@misteronmac @BBCNews £5.27 per month smartphone, only freeview, don’t smoke & even teetotal so maybe give up the car & walk 30+ miles to work, work my 10 hrs & then walk 30+ home again … At 68, working in the back of beyond, up hill & down dale, with no public transport … I don’t think so 🙄

I’m a sky cuntstomer. Just logged in to SkyGo to find something interesting for tomorrow. **** all I’d watch. Why am I paying about £70 a month for shite I could get for free if I just buy an aerial and freeview?
