To be honest, when you've removed the dependency of other real time tv, i cant see many people chipping in. Many will be paying just to watch their subscription service or Freeview.

@FreeviewTV @JimIrvineUK Following is email to sky news:Like hundreds in Swindon and others in UK at 2130 we lost freeview signal we just are left with screen saying no signal there is no news or update with freeview I attempted to retune and programs break up till you get no signal messege.

@BlightyUK Totes agree, I do not usually watch GMB I watch Sky news on Freeview, BUT THAT morning I couldn't get a signal and was privy to the debacle. I thought he was a weatherman yet he was sitting beside the presenter the other day, ideas above his weather station methinks.

@rewind_ttvr Funny how the Beeb use the time difference between digital platforms excuse to not have an onscreen clock, yet @BBCRadio4 broadcast's the Greenwich Time Signal. Radio 4 is on multiple outlets - all a couple of seconds behind LW / FM / DAB / Freeview / D-Sat etc.
