To be honest, when you've removed the dependency of other real time tv, i cant see many people chipping in. Many will be paying just to watch their subscription service or Freeview.

@diffyonhoto1 @georgegalloway I have a Chinese Region Samsung Smart TV and all channels are working normal that we pick up via the Internet - we don't get Freeview down here by the way.

@Agar5588 @NadineDorries I think that's different to the satellite source being taken down. Sky or Freeview could have acted unilaterally to block broadcast, whereas satellite block removed the option

@Agar5588 @NadineDorries Isn't the Freeview a satellite relay broadcast though? I think RT is uploaded to satellite from Moscow, then downloaded to consumer satellite dishes and relay stations for terrestrial broadcast, e.g. via Freeview So removing from the satellite should also take down Freeview
