Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

To be honest, when you've removed the dependency of other real time tv, i cant see many people chipping in. Many will be paying just to watch their subscription service or Freeview.

Also, NXT UK will air on a weeks delay on the Paramount Network, which puts them on Freeview.

@leksi_p Correct. If you do not have Freeview, Sky or Virgin (or any other cable service), you should not need to pay if you never watch it.

@hitinman ALWAYS issues with Freeview, they just tell you to retune 3 or 4 times then say you equipment is at fault. Never their bad service!

@lordbambitoyou It's not on the Saorview platform. Is it not more a case of picking it up due to being close to NIR and getting a spillover of the UK Freeview signal?

@BBCWorld Still 3times cheaper then the bbc which you aren't allowed to leave even if you never watch bbc but have freeview you must pay.. The BBC is dead Long live the BBC It's subject's must obey

@BBCOne I have no problem paying for a TV license, when variety is available. Not everyone like the same thing. But all you put on recently is sport! If you are going to do that, create a BBC Sport channel on iplayer, or another freeview channel.

@DianeHaywood71 I know. Our lounge TV doesn't work without WiFi as the internal freeview box dies ages ago and we have to use a firestick for that. It's never ending this no WiFi lark ... 🙄

@FreeviewAdvice Hi, I have not had Freeview for a a week now - no terrestrial tv at all. I have tried every day to retune - please advise what is happening and who I can report this to. I called the help number - as soon as I reported the problem the call was cut - no details taken!
