@MariaMichalis @All4 C4 is in talks to join Britbox... and you get surveillance on any streaming service, even ad funded. That’s how they can target the ads and tell you where your nearest car dealership is (new in All4). Only Freeview lets you keep anonymity

@DrRacheal @FreeviewTV When I had problems with Freeview, I found their helpline - when I eventually managed to get through to someone - very helpful. Took me step-by-step through the stuff I could check and solved it for me.

To be honest, when you've removed the dependency of other real time tv, i cant see many people chipping in. Many will be paying just to watch their subscription service or Freeview.

Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

@leksi_p Correct. If you do not have Freeview, Sky or Virgin (or any other cable service), you should not need to pay if you never watch it.

@Patricia344130 For me, 1) Image seems a bit grainy on Freeview, isn't it in HD. 2) a few sound issues. 3) don't like the dark set used by @afneil it just looked very dated / amateurish. But it's the content that matters and so far so good. The teething issues will get sorted.

@GBNEWS I just tried 515 on Sky and it's an HD channel, which means I, as a satellite dish customer, have to pay extra for. Tried retuning the freeview channels and there was no 216. Conspiracy theory anyone?

@GBNEWS Transmission signal on Freeview 236 still very poor, other channels ok. Defo something wrong with the sound signal - and you need to urgently add subtitles for the hard of hearing, please try a ‘ticker tape’ across the top of the screen.

@afneil Pls take sound engineers out & shoot them. Pic looks fuzzy on all platforms & Freeview sound & pic are out of sync. Dark studio background not working, esp for a bfast show. Pull up Colorama as temp fix. We need @LizKershawDJ @Fox_Claire double act on air pls. Good luck!

@JasonPedlow @HelenSalmon2 I can't pick it up on my Freeview TV, and not interested enough to know if it's available on anything else I have. But seriously? First guest was Nigel Farage? Yes, my lack of signal was definitely telling me to avoid it.
