Most of the times when I watch the freeview there are so many errors in it it’s unreal. If you didn’t have enough time then that’s bad planning on your side

TangeMusic (@TangeMusic) reported@VonBarronshire @petercrouch Because there isn't enough capacity to have more HD channels than there already are on Freeview transmitters, unless all the SD channels were shut down, and they can't do that yet as too many people still watch them.

langtoftlad (@langtoftlad) reported@SimonMcCoyTV I do think there's been an awful lot of filler but it's not as if the BBC doesn't have three other channels, and there must be 50+ other freeview channels if one cannot tolerate the blanket coverage of the passing of a monarch who has reigned 70 years.

Mike Andrew (@themikeandrew) reported@FreeviewAdvice might be a stupid question but how do I know if I can get Freeview on my TV? I have a Sony 2021 Google tv. Does it require an Aerial or scan via internet? Doesn't seem to be an app available. 🤦🏻🤔 I have sky but no Aerial to connect.

Freeview SD pictures are poor even on "high" bitrate channels though. "Dreadful" was my initial reaction when I 1st saw DVB in 1999- this hasn't changed.

Tom1871 (@TomDavi8165081) reportedIs anyone else having problems recording off of freeview? Things keep failing from the HD channels such as BBC One & ITV. I don't record off the HD channels, just the normal ones. I don't know why it keeps doing this. I retuned my freeview box to see if that helps.

Tom1871 (@TomDavi8165081) reported@RobertsonG Thank you. I am aware of that & would put it down to that, but it started happening on the odd occasion even months ago. Strange 🤔. I retuned my freeview box to see how that goes & chose South East instead of South / Southampton, just in case.
