@CraigS0309 People are arguing about this very advice. Take a Sky engineer, if your Sky box or dish breaks. One person argued it shouldn’t be fixed & use Freeview. Problem with that for me is 1) I don’thave Freeview as no aerial and 2) I pay Sky extra to cover equipment

@wearyprovo Can you cancel online I hate the phone because they put you through to other ppl, I want to stop mine to, I never watch it any more, except sky news and you get that on freeview.

@MartinSLewis We have only used a Now TV stick for the last 3 years. Recently got the ariel lead so as to watch freeview. What a load of crap on all these channels. Just full of repeats. No wonder streaming services are doing so well.

@Candice57413407 In general, it's fine. I'm just annoyed at the business model of double profits. Typically nowadays you either offer paid service with no ads (I.e. Netflix), or ad powered service for free (freeview/terestrial TV). Sky is grabbing money here with both hands.

@Stevecathutch Mind if I ask where in the country you are, and what system you were watching on (e.g. Sky/Freeview/Virgin etc.)? Trying to work out what happened, we had the same issue (north Cumbria).

@ThatKerryHudson @Di__ers I’ve got food network on freeview/ freesat. Also would recommend Zen for internet. Good customer service ratings which is unusual in that industry.

@DianeHaywood71 I know. Our lounge TV doesn't work without WiFi as the internal freeview box dies ages ago and we have to use a firestick for that. It's never ending this no WiFi lark ... 🙄

The @BBCiPlayer live stream is a solid 90 seconds behind the Freeview HD feed. Really expect better latency in 2022. And I'm on gigabit, no issues my end, stream starts instantly.
