@BBCPhilipSim Maybe it's time to make BBC a commercial channel ie no licence. They can then raise income from advertising & charge for iplayer service (believe is being considered). That way no person would have a licence to pay & would only buy in other services they wanted above freeview

@nowtvhelp It’s ok they’ll tell to do the exact same things I’ve done already. It’s working now but for how long. And your live chat very rarely works. Or there’s a long wait to speak to someone. When the passes are finished I’ll just cancel and stick to freeview amazon prime and Netflix

When we got rid of Sky I got a HDHomerun Freeview Tuner that could stream to Amazon Firesticks to wean co-occupants off live TV. It worked, & when the Pi broke a few weeks ago I didn't fix it. No one has complained. Can anyone think of a compelling reason *not* to sell it?

Considering ditching Freeview and moving to Freesat. I live in an area where we only get about 70% of channels whilst 20 miles away I'd get the full service. Also at times the Freeview signal is getting bad.

@Discovery Don't know if you can help but i'm in the UK & all of a sudden cannot get any of your channels on freeview. Quest, Food Network etc. It just says channel no longer exists. Tried updating channels, scanning for channels etc to no avail. Can you advise?

@PhilPhenom Latest tweet would imply their online service is not working this evening, as they only point people to the Red Button [Sky/Freesat 981, Freeview 601] instead of the usual "Red Button and iPlayer".

using a service such as Freeview, Sky (satellite), Freesat (satellite) or Virgin Media (cable). If not, you'll need to set up your main TV to receive Digital TV. How to get Digital TV If you have a video recorder, DVD recorder or hard-disk recorder (PVR) connected to your main
