@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

  • Bluebird0309 CllrJillHoulbrook (@Bluebird0309) reported from Chester, England

I have 100 freeview channels on my tv. Tonight they are all showing utter crap.

  • jackisdull Dull Jack (@jackisdull) reported

Sorry if this is a silly question, I’ve never been into football and only ever had terrestrial/freeview. Can you get into football without a TV sports package these days? Just thinking about if my kids get into

  • SpringettPeter Peter Springett (@SpringettPeter) reported

How pathetic. Such an important choice & all I can think of is to hope that Sky Arts stays on Freeview & if Scotland get independence they continue to export 10 year old Laphroaig to England. Sad I know, but all the important stuff is down to a bunch of pillocks in Westminster.

  • MartynJSymons Martyn Symons (@MartynJSymons) reported

@FreeviewAdvice No Freeview signal from Sutton Coldfield transmitter since Thursday in CV area.

@MurrayBaileybks Oh no! New TVs are throw away shite! Even the expensive ones. I foolishly tried to get one repaired earlier this year, just the arial socket - loose solder! Turns out they solder it the circuit board you can't fix. The part is as much as a new TV. Bypassed socket with Freeview bx

  • mikebn1 Mike Ward (@mikebn1) reported

@MartinSLewis £17 a month for mobile broadband with 3 . Ditched the landline and tv - just use freeview. A third cheaper than TalkTalk and better, faster, more reliable service

  • AuntieSyzygy Auntie Syzygy (@AuntieSyzygy) reported

@CRobertsonUK I only have freeview, and they have dozens of channels, all of the same and all of them crap or repeated crap. Never any decent films or a solid drama you can get stuck into. There seemed to be more choice and more good stuff back when we had just 3 or 4 channels.
