@jaxlfc_jj @YaTerrynorris70 It’s not restricted to the BBC. If you watch or record live TV on any channel - either through your TV or through a website - then you need a TV licence. This applies whether you receive Freesat, Freeview or a pay-TV service in your home, & whether or not you watch BBC channels.

@jonhoneyball @afneil @GBNEWS Technically it's all a bit amateur hour. Terrible size ticker bar which covers far to much screen space. Hangs around to long full size, awful font size and dodgy design. Far to dark sets. Awful levels for sound. The Freeview feed is 10db to low compared to every other channel...

  • markydeedrop 🅜🅐🅡🅚 (@markydeedrop) reported

@tomhfh I look forward to that. I'm never a fan of Freeview SD quality.

  • colin1951uk Colin Knight (@colin1951uk) reported

@GBNEWS I don’t know if it’s been mentioned but I watched on Freeview last night and often the sound was out of synch when a person was talking. The 9:00pm show was worst hit. It may have been teething troubles & ok on other platforms. I’ll check again later to see how it looks.

  • galeb80 barbara gale (@galeb80) reported

@SusanHarris80 @toshtheblues I get it on freeview 236.....but had to quickly returne my TV first. However will give it a few days before I watch again while they sort the too many tech problems out. All very well investing in presenters and reporters only for the technical side to be a bit of a disaster.

  • CommonSense_FT Sam #CSFT 52% 96.5% (@CommonSense_FT) reported

@GBNEWS Agghh! Watched the launch last night, then signal breaks down (Freeview),retune & the channel disappears! Retune twice more eventually got you back, but at 11.55pm. 😔 Same thing happened this morning & you’ve disappeared again. Mendip transmitter, I believe. Frustrating!

  • glovelace Graham Lovelace (@glovelace) reported

@jennypriestley @GBNEWS Wonder if same issues on Freeview?

  • agw1437 A.G.W. 🇬🇧 (@agw1437) reported

@GBNEWS gen qu for techie types: Why is there a synchronisation problem from the studio but not on the live video links? I’m watching on freeview - does that make a difference? Very curious but keep it simple - I’m a historian not IT.

  • Phantaxus Phantaxus 🇪🇺 🇬🇧 (@Phantaxus) reported

@mattthr The aerial to play Freeview might be an issue. I went with the Nvidia Shield however that is not cheap but does have expandable storage

  • Ne3Steve SteveNE3 (@Ne3Steve) reported

I still have @gbnews on in the living room and my desktop monitor has freeview built in (with an aerial) so I can easily switch over with that too Yes they're having sh1t loads of technical issues, I feel sorry for them a bit but they will iron out quickly and it's live
