@Saraita101 Linear TV - and Radio, whether from an actual radio or Freeview on a TV - is vital for those easily marginalised, cut-off and lonely. I'm particularly thinking of people in care homes, folds and such-like. As no OO or Twelfth fan, I feel it's a bad decision from @BBCnireland .

Why is the 30 year old (bad) movie Jurassic Park on at least one Freeview channel every single week (sometimes several times per week?) #r4today

@SebastianEPayne The problem here is why OFCOM allowed this channel to be called "GB News" To the man in the street, it is seen as a competitor to SKY News and BBC News As evidenced by its location on Freeview, channels 231, 233 vs 236.

@fmdiscr @BeckettUnite It should never have been temporary though. Many people need that money desperately. The jubilee nonsense (and its extraordinary cost) was completely unnecessary and could've easily been dealt with as a one off event at Westminster Abbey, televised on a single freeview channel.

@weathertoy @GBNEWS Only recently found this channel on Freeview. Is this actually a serious news channel? Why can this unqualified idiot rant on challenged?

@isleofmanbbctv @hischeekiness But not (yet) from an Isle of Man transmitter. If you are *currently* receiving CBeebies HD on Freeview, you're picking up a signal from the UK, as COM7 does not broadcast on any of the island's transmitters. CBBC HD on the other hand does, it's on the PSB3 multiplex.

@PolygoniaSpec @Samanth22356123 Ah. The Freeview is so awful here, you can barely watch it. It's really noticeable with 'Who wants to be a Millionaire', where the TV is so fuzzy you cannot actually read the 4 answers.

@MrRobertBob1 Indeed so. We should have a Netflix health service where those who can afford it, get it, and those who can't, get Freeview health. Is that not what our Health Secretary said?
