Oh, +now+ I find out there's a Freeview app. After kvetching about Talking Pictures TV for nearly a year. I've decided this is all your fault and not a research fail on my part.

@emsquare_d @CyclingLain We can't get a signal downstairs so watch Freeview upstairs (which we're happy with) and Virgin downstairs. It's that or Sky, which we can't bring ourselves to get because Murdoch. Virgin's business ethos pisses us off, but between that and Sky it's the lesser of two evils.

Terry_Fish_Fingers (@fingers_terry) reported
@Paul_Ilett @virginmedia Every single paid for subscription tv service will offer it as freeview. Just don't watch it if you don't agree with it. You need to realise that some people want to enjoy its fresh alternate offering.

@Femi_Sorry @EE Hi, EE I've been with you since 1936 & i have got 2 cars a motorcycle, mountain bike & a skateboard all on the EE network and i will put them all in the wheely bin if you advertise on channel 72 on freeview, it's now in your hands.

@JCalvert_music Not sure about that. Their intended audience already has YouTube to see this stuff on. Flicking through Freeview sucks. Maybe there'll be some traction with soundbite snippets being shared online? But I just can't see it being a new Sky News. Maybe it's a long game

Never mind. Sky Arts doesn't work on the Freeview app. OF COURSE it doesn't.

@FauxChisels @_Nightingales Can anybody help? I don't have Freeview or Sky so I downloaded the Sky Go app on my laptop but it's not working. I tried watching The Art Of Architecture to test it out but it says Sky Go is currently unavailable. It's looking like I won't get to see the film😕
