The Tom Cruise War Of The Worlds is on TV tonight, the blurb on the Freeview listings says it "deals with adult themes" - I've never heard aliens in giant tripods described like that before

@BooOMeringue @BumblingD I live very near to this house. Internet here is very poor. 8mb at ours. No Freeview signal to speak of either, plus we don't even have mains gas. There are many other benefits though.

@LGUKCare Bought a 2020 LG TV a few weeks ago and I've just realised that Freeview Play and All4 apps are missing and cannot be downloaded. Can you help me to rectify this? Is a software update required?

@FreeviewAU Since Freeview updated to 1.04 our Hisense 65S8 TV no longer allows the default electronic program guide (EPG) button to work. @HisenseAus advised this is a known issue with Freeview to fix. Is there a timeline on getting this resolved?

@BillyHoward423 For context, Freeview is the 'free' digital tv service, and I only have the box because the tv is so old it can't pick up the signal. Even the box is a supermarket own-brand and cost me £19 in 2013. It runs away scared at the thought of actual technology

@piersmorgan Sounds like my Uncle!! Took him to get a ‘new tv’ (with freeview, etc built in). With purchase he got 6 free months of one plus 12 months of another. I set it all up straight away (inc. the freebies). Yet, he’s never even tried them - he’d rather moan that there’s nothing on TV!

@JohnBrownsBod12 @TurboKitty Just to say that there's a concert of Bad Company at Redocks on Sky Arts (Ch. 11 Freeview) today (Sat.) at 5.15pm. Sounds good to me! 🤘😎🤘

@rvkirk I have a love/hate relationship with Sharpe. Love: it's a great show. Hate: in the early days of Freeview I'd be scrolling through the EPG and get very excited to see Sharpe, only to find on switching that it was in UKTV Gold, which was a premium channel :( I never learnt.
