@FreeviewAdvice hi Freeview, wondering if you can help. Just moved into a new build and your postcode checker says we won't get Freeview - not sure if this is true or just because we have a new postcode? Don't want to waste money on an aerial if we can't get it!

@911Amelia @anetevt @SkyNewsBreak Why would anyone watch Sky News? I can get their "News" channel on Freeview but have hidden the channel to keep my blood pressure down.

@ryleydavison I had a sky box but no subscription, was just fancy freeview. Used to go down and still the card when my parents fell asleep

@virginmedia The works are conducted, but they never resolve issues. We still use FreeView, 5 days after the storm. The wifi speed is low, and pages keep crushing on laptop and phones.

  • JaseHeeley Jase Heeley (@JaseHeeley) reported

@BuddClair As of this point, it looks as though there's no way we'll ever subscribe to a paid T.V. service like Sky or Virgin ever again. I'm happy to pay the licence fee as it stands, but Freeview's more than adequate, alongside Netflix and Spamazon.

  • Dr_Jon John Michael Leslie (@Dr_Jon) reported

@Theking06810787 @CountBinface I don't get this, it's never gone away on Freeview, just press the Text button on your TV's remote while on BBC1, BBC2 or BBCNews and you're good to go: Page ideas: 101 = News headlines 302 = Football Headlines 360 = F1 Headlines 400 = Weather

  • Psythor James O'Malley (@Psythor) reported

@JamesCridland I’ve just got a HDHomeRun box that has two Freeview tuners in, and makes the channels available as IPTV on your local network. Then the app Channels (which is available for basically everything) is used to view, and downloads the EPG from the web, and it works great.

  • allypabdn AllyP (@allypabdn) reported

@UladhGael @ClarNiUigin Here, it's channel 9 on Freeview but 115 on Sky. BBC Scotland. That's probably no help whatsoever though.
