  • JasonDragon1975 Jason Ratcliffe (@JasonDragon1975) reported from Chesterfield, England

@Alexand85266011 @femme_uk @GBNEWS Freeview isn't very reliable for me either. I'm only 10 miles [as the crow flies] from the South Yorkshire Transmitter, yet I can only receive 6 of the 15 HD channels available. BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, Channel 4, Channel 5 and CBBC. The signal quality/strength is on average 80%.

@reece_dinsdale @waynefoy @virginmedia Try message them on twitter they seem to get back to you quicker on social media .i stayed loyal to virgin for many years until the freeview episode when I changed to @SkyHelpTeam was so glad I did and it was cheaper by a lot virgin have no loyalty dad having same problem now x

@bowlestrek Get your facts straight. Johnson is not in favour of ditching the license fee, as he knows it’s a massive vote loser. Plus they’ve now realised, they can’t go to subscription fee system, as the freeview boxes that the majority of UK households use, don’t support it.

  • RiaLMitchell Dr Ria Mitchell (@RiaLMitchell) reported from Sheffield, England

Anyone else in Sheffield having Freeview problems the past day or so?

@FreeviewAdvice so freeview is taking several channels off the service. What a load of rubbish. Your service is now becoming a very poor second to the likes of freesat. pixleation issues bad affected by weather and if you live near railways or airports useless.

  • lexheath lexheath (@lexheath) reported

@BBCNews just had a message on freeview that hd is going - this is a huge mistake, I’ve already stopped watching bbc breakfast because the cut to local news gives that tedious message, also never watch local news as it’s ld, itv is all in hd so they’ve won

  • Andrew1970Robin Andrew Robinson (@Andrew1970Robin) reported

@ChannelboxTV Hello on searching Channelbox Freeview 271 it was showing a bug the loading bar was motionless as if frozen please fix this problem as soon as possible. Thank-you.

  • FormulaStoo Stoo G (@FormulaStoo) reported

Bad news: confirmation that FreeSports will be leaving Freeview next week Good news: looks as though the FreeSports Player will still be available to watch the channel online. Fingers crossed, anyway

  • nvhstargazer Nance H (@nvhstargazer) reported

What is going on with Freeview TV right now? Seem to have lost the Freeview Channels in the past 2 hours (something about the Digital signal) and now terrestrial is glitching the picture. Is anyone else having problems with Freeview in London right now? #FreeviewDown @FreeviewTV

  • geykyn George Eykyn (@geykyn) reported

Is there a Freeview TV outage currently? Cannot get TV box to pick up terrestrial channels. Wd be odd if aerial suddenly stopped working. Restarted Humax box, etc etc. It is an old box, but...

  • AndrewxxP Andrew Pickering (Lord of Bolingbroke)🇺🇦🇪🇺🚀🚢 (@AndrewxxP) reported

Allowing @BBCNews HD channel to drop out of Freeview is a huge error. Poor choice. @newswatchbbc

  • rsmck Ross McKillop  (@rsmck) reported

Big mistake to remove @BBCNews HD from Freeview. Hotels, airline lounges, foyers etc where BBC has prevailed for years will switch to another news service rather than retrofit freesat or IP based solutions just to keep the same channel :(

  • AndrewBowden Andrew Bowden (@AndrewBowden) reported

@LornaGoodyear Paramount+ is a new streaming service so it's built into many TVs. But actually there are Freeview channels that need an internet connection so yes there are channels thatb can't be watched on normal TVs

  • FedUpWithBadAir Dave Peterson (He/Him) Ⓥ 🇨🇦 (@FedUpWithBadAir) reported

@ECOWARRIORSS Besides, what about places without high-speed Internet access? At least Freeview is available in places where cellular and Internet signals aren't... What a terrible and misguided plan.
