Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Portsmouth and nearby locations:

  • Sparky_Darryl Darryl Barlow (@Sparky_Darryl) reported from Emsworth, England

@giffgaff They said this “The engineers that are doing the work on the mast have not given us any updates. The engineers do update our network page, all you need to do is enter your postcode and it will bring up if there is issues in your area and if they are going to be delayed” No Help!

  • pachallis Peter Challis (@pachallis) reported from Fareham, England

@notmany4benny @carterBFC @SamsungUK One of the disadvantages of living in rural locations. At least you must have beautiful views instead. I had problems with Three and I live 200m from a transmitter where I get flaky voice calls. Apparently I need a Three supplied phone to get VOLTE. Currently on O2/Giffgaff.

@giffgaff #GiffGaff Anyone else found their signal strengths dropping in the Godney - Glastonbury area? Progressively dropping signal over the past 3 months! Is GiffGaff on #Wells Mast? After a long time with GG prob having to change providers for better signal RT-Share

  • CyberOutsider Dave (@CyberOutsider) reported

@Teddybreath Everyone I know has moved to Giffgaff (which runs on the O2 network anyway). The only downside I've doing with them is that they don't have the capability for WiFi calling. But then everyone uses video chat apps anyway, don't they?

  • NicolaB08261277 Nicola Brown (@NicolaB08261277) reported

@giffgaff totally let down by giffgaff and red tape. Beginning of June you were prepared to help me….now you won’t even help with the account in my name. I understand there is data protection but short of a dna swab I’ve given you all the information you asked for ! 😡

  • benno44775 benno44775 (@benno44775) reported

@BobPrydderch @giffgaff Unfortunately no company offers 100% service, even your own bank or broadband company. When it comes to telecommunications it can never be 100% guaranteed but mast issues, limiting network speeds at congested times, coverage in your town/city etc

  • Lawrencemuraga Lawrence (@Lawrencemuraga) reported

@giffgaff I have been with giffgaff for a year only complain the network they use is crap am forever asking people there wifi passwords when I have unlimited data

  • gez_666 gez howarth (@gez_666) reported

@tescomobile @giffgaff They said every time they tried to put my details through it came up with a technical error, they reported it and apparently it was a known issue

  • shawncbrown Mr Onion-Bucket (@shawncbrown) reported

@dalehay Giffgaff (o2) not working around here either. But they’re claiming it is!

  • testedbylife Richard Fröhlich #StandWithUkraine🇺🇦 (@testedbylife) reported

@Mandoline_Blue @GTTO__ Try GiffGaff for sim- no contract, move tariff up or down each month. My 2 phones cost £10 and £6 pm. Avoid Vodafone like the plague.

@benno44775 @giffgaff That is a load of crap. Law states you are entitled to a quality of service, no service is not a quality of service, it is what it says, no service. 0% service is no service. If you buy a product and the vendor says “ we have got no product” is that a service? Period!
