@Hampo I'm on Giffgaff, it runs in O2's network. I've never had a problem except for one day (or less) when that network went down. That's one day out of 5+ years. No catch that I've spotted.

Gotta love @giffgaff ‘s help page - our data coverage sucks in your area, so, yeah… use someone’s wifi. So why am I paying you for data??? Got this sim as a trial to see how it went but after the problems on holiday and now no data in the largest city in Scotland… not good.

@giffgaff Absolutely DIREservice. My daughter is disabled and we have had NO MOBILE access from our phones for ONE WEEK. Your staff didn't even bother to read the report, instead telling me to 'reset' my phone. ITS TWO PHONES. WE HAVE NO ABILITY TO CALL ANYONE IN AN EMERGENCY. APPALLED.

I was hoping there would be an alternative way of paying, such as over the phone...but apparently, they have no such contingency plan should their online method fail leaving customers with no data
