heilier (@HHeilier) reportedAfter reviewing my complaint, giffgaff has officially refused to reinstate my number and has also refused to refund my remaining balance, including the £10 I topped up shortly before my account was disconnected. I understand that operators have roaming policies, but I believe customers should receive a clear warning before being allowed to top up if their account is already at risk of disconnection. Losing both the service and the newly added credit feels unfair. They also advised me to request a PAC within 30 days if I want to keep my number.
