Hi @giffgaff We purchased an IPhone XS Max 2.5yrs ago for £1300 it now has a carrier update fail message @AppleSupport have looked at the phone and advised it should be replaced but as it was purchased through yourselves it should be done via you and consumer protection laws.

@JakeFordd If you check your SIM card, please ensure it ends in 5Ggg1. If it does, you should be able to receive 5G service from your SIM, but it would seem 5G isn't showing as an option on your phone, so you'll need to ensure it is 5G enabled. - giffgaff Jeanette

@rowdy_claire @O2 @giffgaff I still have a year in my contract and can’t afford to buy out but I won’t be staying when it’s up, even if my work gets me discount. It’s next to impossible to speak to anyone! It’s terrible! Never had this issue when I was with EE!
