@HSBC_UK I have been a customer for over twenty years. I applied for a debt consolidation loan where the monthly payment was less than my current monthly debt payments. Your staff just advised me to try and “chip away” at my credit card debt!

@HSBC_UK Once Upon A Time there was, indeed, this idea that banks were there to help their customers. These days we know perfectly well that banks exist to make profit from their customers - if I went whining to a bank I would expect them to see it as a profit opportunity.

@HSBC_UK Years ago my monthly pay amount would not cover my overdraft with you, so every month you charged me more for being over my overdraft. I asked to raise my overdraft to help get me out of the continuous situation and you said no, so for months I got extra charges from you. Thanks

@HSBC_UK Why would the banks help people out without a return? By the goodness of your hearts? You've only offered tie-over loans with extortionate interest rates. That's why no one asks the banks for help.

@HSBC_UK Yes, the info I needed wasn’t available online. I use the HSBC app daily. The telephone was the only option for what I needed but your customer service in that area is poor.

@HSBC_UK My HSBC online banking account was locked and it took me weeks to get access reset again. Staff telling me the wrong info to reset the account only delayed matters. If you can't get basic banking correct, I can't imagine you are any help in a cost of living crisis.
