So @HSBC_UK sent me a letter about an account I believed was closed; Can't sort via Online Help as the bot is useless Can't do over the phone as I don't have the number the automated voice needs Can't do in branch* as both Chorley and Leyland are closed *nearest is Preston

I'm not a massive fan of how the big banks deal with the general public but @HSBC_UK take the biscuit! Appalling customer service over months of trying to resolve an issue with our charity community account. Numerous waits on the phone, unhelpful staff and utterly stupid policies

@HSBC_UK @HSBC_UK then told I cant make complaint in branch has to be done on phone. Cant do that as not technically a customer yet! 5 wasted bus trips later, 2 hours out of my lunch and puzzled as to what branch *can*. Worst customer experience Ive had, put me off switching now

@HSBC_UK we have been trying to get a response to a query about a payment since November. We have had our bank send SWIFT investigations, still with no response from HSBC. We have sent emails to the support without response. Who can we escalate this to?

@HSBC_UK my sister was scammed out of a lot of money by a fake HSBC call centre. They also used HSBC phone numbers. Your fraud team are claiming it’s not HSBCs problem but it was conducted by someone claiming to be your organisation. Also no due diligence checks were done.
