So @HSBC_UK sent me a letter about an account I believed was closed; Can't sort via Online Help as the bot is useless Can't do over the phone as I don't have the number the automated voice needs Can't do in branch* as both Chorley and Leyland are closed *nearest is Preston

Just learned that @HSBC_UK does not have a full service branch in Cardiff, our capital city, & can't open a new Jt account without going to Swansea! Been with them 30 years. Time to say 'hwyl fawr!' 👋 🏴 Which modern bank to choose..?

@HSBC_UK Do I have to book an appointment at the branch to update my personal details (name), or can I just pop go in at any time? The website says to book an appointment over the phone, and but when I called phone banking, it said I should book the appointment online!

@HSBC_UK @Mark_GB1 Nice to know as I have been experiencing the same issue. Good to find a workaround although it would have been better to find an acknowledgement of the issue on the app itself (in support perhaps) especially as it is already known and recognised by yourself HSBC.
