So @HSBC_UK sent me a letter about an account I believed was closed; Can't sort via Online Help as the bot is useless Can't do over the phone as I don't have the number the automated voice needs Can't do in branch* as both Chorley and Leyland are closed *nearest is Preston

1/2 Spent a big chunk of yesterday and today wrestling with @HSBC_UK who ‘randomly’ declined husband’s and my credit cards for security reasons without notifying us. The site we were trying to buy from just said ‘transaction failed’ so we retried ++. Husband’s card frozen.

@HSBC_UK For waiting over 1hr 10min I gave up. Tried several more times and now I am now waiting for a call back. I must say that the customer service is extremely poor, not enough branches and not enough staff!!

@HSBC_UK @BBCCiN it is impossible to get in touch with your customer service without logging into online banking. I cannot do that because I closed my account in 2021. A refund was sent to this closed account and I want my money back
