HSBC now insist on evidence that will take 10 working days to generate. Son cd have opened an account with Starling (among others) in the time it’s taken him dealing with HSBC today alone. So, @HSBC_UK, have a wild stab in the dark: will my son ever be a customer of yours?

Son trying to cash in his @HSBC_UK child trust fund. They need a bank statement to prove ID. No one has paper bank statements any more. 3 trips to HSBC, still not resolved. Goes to Natwest to ask for help. They say “HSBC CTF? Yeah, we get lots of problems with that”.

.@HSBC_UK uses a MOBILE PHONE NUMBER (+447537438060) to text its customers when it thinks fraud has been committed on their account. The text directs customers to call a non-geographic landline number. Call it & you're asked to give your bank details. Anyone spot the problem?

@HSBC_UK you possibly have the WORST TELEPHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am really glad I bank with @firstdirect & not #HSBC. I wish @firstdirect did childrens accounts then I would not have to be on hold for ages, AGAIN, to ask why an online banking number still hasn't been sent

@HSBC_UK I’m a *mortgage* customer. I don’t have online banking. The wait time for mortgage “associates” is 30 minutes or more! I’ve been waiting in branch since 12.30!
