Oh my life @HSBC_UK please sort out your customer services. Waited three hours for a call back and now told I've got through the wrong people- having been given the online team- and now been told it will be 24-48 hours til they can be in touch. Best you can do? Really?

@PennyBritish @HSBC_UK @kraken Had the same issue with TSB. Irony is that HSBC was fined for laundering drug money a while back...! I would recommend using Revolut if changing banks isn't ideal. I transfer from TSB to Revolut to Kraken. Works well and is free. Gets round the problem nicely.

Is this truly your best @HSBC_UK ? A customer with a 4 month old complaint of money not being reimbursed should just sit around indefinitely for when a manager feels like calling the the customer back. No urgency on your part?
